Metric Oval Burs - Tungsten Carbide

Metric Oval Burs - Tungsten Carbide
Metric Oval burs (also referred to as burrs) are used to remove excess material and sharp edges from machined components. They are suitable for deburring and finishing curvilinear surface profiles and circular holes. They can also be used for grinding or shaping. Our Metric Oval Burs have strong, heat- and wear-resistant carbide heads and can be used with jewelers pendant drills, high-speed engravers, and die grinders.

  • Our Metric Oval Carbide Burs are available in 3mm and 6mm shank diameters.
  • Proudly made right here in the USA.

Double Cut Burs (ADC)

Basically a standard cutting tool, cuts are performed along the left-hand spiral. Double Cut Burs have multiple cutting edges which will remove material much faster. Double cut burs leave a smoother finish than standard cut burs because they produce smaller chips as they cut. The The Double cut profile provides better tool control in the removal of light-to-medium material, deburring, finishing and cleaning.

Standard Cut Burs

The standard cut bur provides easy chip flow and faster material removal with little to no clogging. Can be used on aluminum, magnesium, soft steel, plastic, rubber and wood.

Bear/Shipyard Cut Burs (Heavy-Duty)

We have specially designed and engineered our Bear/Shipyard burs for use in tough operating conditions. They have a much deeper fluting than conventional double cut burs and give superior performance. Perfect choice for use on mild steel, stainless steel, metal alloys and cast iron. Ideal for heavy duty applications; shipbuilding, automotive, offshore drilling, and foundries.

Aluma Cut Burs (NF)

This cut is for use on aluminum, magnesium, soft steel and nonferrous materials such as hard plastic, rubber and wood. Provides easy chip flow and faster stock removal with little or no clogging.

Chipbreaker Cut Burs

Our Chipbreaker oval shaped Burs are for Deburring, milling, cleaning. Used for tempered, unhardened steel, cast steel, and weld seams.
