Machine Ground Cone Radius End Burs - High Speed Steel



These files have smooth, undamaged flutes, they are ground from hardened high speed steel blanks. They are used for filing, deburring, and finishing rounded openings and curvilinear surfaces in mild steels, aluminum, brass, lead, select plastics, and magnesium. They work best in machines with flexible shafts and air tools, at medium speeds and are commonly used to remove excess material and sharp edges from machined components.

Standard Cut Burs


Basically a standard cutting tool, cuts are performed along the left-hand spiral. Double Cut Burs have multiple cutting edges which will remove material much faster. Double cut burs leave a smoother finish than standard cut burs because they produce smaller chips as they cut. The The Double cut profile provides better tool control in the removal of light-to-medium material, deburring, finishing and cleaning.
